I spent 30 minutes on Saturday, an hour last night and currently over 90 minutes this morning waiting to get through to speak to someone. This seems ridiculous as I’ve never had a problem in the past with them so it suggests something is up with just the cancellation line?

We have stupidly just realized we have been paying for life insurance to cover our mortgage twice for a very long time . My wife rang to cancel but it obviously carried on and it was so long ago we have no record of trying to cancel. One of the companies involved changed its name which added to our stupidity . Can anything be claimed back or do we have to live with our stupidity

Hello,

I’m new to the forum, so I so sorry if this is in the wrong place, i just really need some advice! My friend was in a car accident 3 years ago, where she ran in the back of someone at low speed.

She has now received a letter from a court saying that she has to pay court costs for a recent claim made by the driver of the other car for injuries. Now my friend has never recevied any other paperwork to suggest that this court case was happening! Can they do this without hearing her side of the story first and without notifying her?

any advice would be so welcoming! thanks!!

Hi

I have noticed that the pelmet on the bottom of my wall cupboard is melted probably from having a toaster underneath. I have always used a toaster on my worktops without problems before! I have made enquiries about replacing this pelmet as we are putting the house on the market and want to sell it with a kitchen in perfect condition and find that our 5 year old kitchen is discontinued. I have done more research and the company that manufactured my kitchen has ceased trading. What do I do? I cannot expect an insurance company to pay for a new kitchen but wonder what would happen had say a door been badly damaged. Just what could I expect an insurance company to do regarding the pelmet that I cannot get hold of now?

Any suggestions?

Maggie
